Default Yes/No Instance Parameter in Wall Tag?

I'm modifying our firm's wall tag to match a newly developed standard. The tag allows for a field of additional description if necessary. I was hoping that I could create a label in the annotation family that referenced a yes/no visibility instance parameter. I tried with no luck, but when I switched the yes/no parameter to a type parameter, it showed up in the project. I am correct to assume that you can't use a yes/no instance parameter in an annotation family?

    I believe you are correct.

Check out this thread I had a few weeks ago

Although I think Aaron & I were not quite connecting, the gist of it is that you can't do anything to the appearance of an annotation family with parameters.

why not use two different tags that you can swap out on the fly?

Yeah, that's what I thought, I was just making sure. In this case, making different types isn't a big deal, because there will only be 2 of them.

I've recently began working on a project in Revit 2015 and I tried to do what you described above... Unfortunately, creating a yes/no visibility instance parameter within an annotation tag is still not allowed. I mean come on Autodesk, how hard is it really to change this? It's been 7 YEARS!
