Default White text on black background

We are trying to make a presentation title block that has a field of solid black fill with white text on top of the black fill. We have set the text properties to be white but they are still showing up as black. We also have .jpg images set to forefront on top of the black fill and when the title block is loaded into a project file the images can't be seen. Using version 9.1. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Try setting the white to something else then pure white like 255,255,254. I thought it was fixed but im not sure.

Thanks that works. Some one in our office found that setting the text to opaque and white works as well. Now we just have to figure out why our .jpg images won't stay in the front of the fill when loaded into a project.
