    Unhappy Structural framing as columns

How do I make a 'c' channel (found under metric libray) into a column?
Or any of the other framing members. My framing members tend to go up and down as well as in other directions, and it looks like I need to completely re-make columns from scratch

Default Re: Structural framing as columns

If you insert them via the Structural Colum button under the structural tab then they should show up. Also you can drag the ends of beams, girts etc... around in 3D to get them to run in different directions. I'm not sure if I answered your question completely. If you end up having to edit your family just take an existing column and edit the sweep profile. Hope this helps
