Default width factor for dim text

Anyone know if there is a width Factor Control for Dims like there is for Text? Unless I am mistaken the Dim Text does not use the same controls as Text (meaning- change the controls for the text it will automatically change for the Dims like in AutoCAD).

    Thanks,
    Brian

You are right, there is no control for that in dimension.

Would a narrow type font work?

We went with the the Narrow Arial font as our standard for this reason. The width factor, when applied, seemed to produce 'muddy' text when printed

We did a test with: Arial; Arial set to 0.85; and the Arial Narrow font.
We went for a narrow version of the font. Works much better.
