Default Creating parcels with complex conditions

    Hello!
Occasionally I've met situations where I can't get what I want with standard Parcel Layout Tools, because there are more complex conditions for parcel creation. Here's an example.

    See drawing case_parcels.dwg
I want to subdivide parcel 1 into 3 parcels with these conditions:
    1. Angles FGA, FBA and FED are 90°
    2. Each of new parcels (figures ABFG, BCDEF) have area exactly 3000 m², remaining goes for left parcel.

I know there's only one solution. It actually is an mathematical/geometrical problem. Can C3D solve this?

What I did to pass this case was to draw 2 lines EF and GF, then with BOUNDARY command create polyline inside and see if it fits 6000 m². If it doesn't, then adjust these lines untils I have exactly 6000 m². Then I create parcel form objects and with Swing Line tool subdivide it into 2 parcels 3000 m² each. And skip condition of angle FBA being 90°.

What's your experience with such complex situations?

I don't think Civil 3D can handle a complex situation like this. My solution: Since the angles GFE, GFB, and EFB are constant, you can create parcel segments out of the lines (make sure they extend beyond the rest of your parcel lines) and then move the lines around and watch the labels.

    Thanks for the answer Brian!
Your answer is exactly the same as my reseller's.
Good thing is that at least I know for sure what I can't do with C3D
