Hello, I know this post was a long time ago, but do you now how to skip the "Enter Interactive Mode" dialog if you encounter something out of the norm when iterating through a for loop? I have tried Error handling, but its not and error so isn't being caught...

Going into interactive mode is not something that can be controlled. If it happens, it means Revit was unable to execute the contents of the journal you are running. All you can do is edit the journal so it doesn't run whatever section is causing it. In most cases journals fail to run properly on workshared projects or if there are certain keystrokes involved, such as editing a family.

When running a journal file it stops and dumps the session back into interactive mode as soon as it encounters a command that was selected via a menu button response to a prompt. So it appears that menu button responses are not properly written to the journal files? I was hoping to be able to leverage journal files to automate a simple, repetitive sequence of commands on multiple files but this obstacle has stopped me in my tracks. Is there a way around this obstacle, such as either an alternate method of responding to prompts in the original interactive session or inserting asci code responses to those prompts at those locations in the journal file?
