    Default LT 98 & 2006 Files

Is it possible to save a DWG file from LT 2006 and then use it with my old computer running LT 98?

    Hi and welcome to AUGI.

Yes, A2006 (and LT) can save to a suitable format.
Run the Saveas command and click the down-arrow next to the lowest box (it is labeled "Files of type:"). Select "R14/LT98/LT97 Drawing".

Thank you, but the problem is that R14/LT98 is not one of my drop down options. Any ideas?

I have DWG options for 2004 and 2000. Then a template and DXF options for 2004, 2000 and R12. None work with LT 98.

I'm surprised but if that is the case you can only use the R12 DXF option.
