Is there a way to disable this pallette. I will eventually use this feature but only after I can get the other users here to follow the standards that are in place. I fear that if we use this now it will produce garbage.

What is causing the SSM palette to open once you close it?
Check out SSMAUTOOPEN and SSLOCATE.
