    Default Top of Footing Elevation

We should have the option of showing Top or Bottom of footing elevations not just bottom.

Jon - I knew this would make a difference for you! Wait - are you only showing BOF? Ours works as TOF, so maybe this is already as selectable option.

I've found that calling out "top of footing" or "bottom of footing" is a regional thing, so why not have it a selectable option? Especially for those firms that have work in a wide range of areas.

I agree, top of footing should be an option to add to a tag. As far as i can tell "elevation at bottom" is still the only option for a foundation tag.

I agree that you should have the option for both. Not just one. At the very least make the bottom of footing parameter a shared parameter, that you can access from with inside the family. This way you could set up a top of footing elevation parameter based on a formula.

I have to reply as I agree as well. This is a must have as we need to have the top of footing value available. Good wish!

This would be really really really helpful, and save me a LOT of spot elevations.

AGREE! The ability to add T.O.F. to my tags would save me LOADS of time.

Yes, Agree. Our office standard is to always callout TOF. We do alot of drilled pier jobs where BOF is at best a guess.

I would think that TOF elevation would be a rather simple thing for the developers to provide. I would love to see them issue this in an update/patch/service pack.
