    Default MTEXT autonumbering past 1

I'm working in AutoCad 2013. I'm trying to figure out how have an MTEXT object be numbered but start on a number other than 1. Please look at the attached picture to see what I have selected.

    1. OK, make your list like you have shown.
    2. Select the text, and in the Bullets and Lists area, uncheck Allow Bullets and lists.
    3. Change the first number to the digit you desire.
    4. Recheck Allow bullets and Lists
    5. Select all the lines of text except your renumbered line
    6. Click Continue in the Bullets and List part of the menu.
    7. the list should now be renumbered.

Capture.JPGI followed the instructions but after I selected it, the "Bullets and Numbering" is grayed out so I can no longer select it.

Not 100% about this but if I'm not mistaken cant you just start with the number you want too? Say 10 tab over enter text then when you enter the next line should start 11.

Try accessing by right-clicking in the text editor window and select it from the Bullets and Lists menu option.
