Default Crash when dimensioning to imported DWG

I have a user who is experiencing a repeatable problem.
When she dimensions from a Revit object to a line or other element in an imported dwg file Revit will crash.
Anyone else experiencing this issue and have you come across any fixes?

No but i always mention not to do it. Draw a ref plane and dimension to it.

So, Daniel, if you weren't having problems what made you think of saying not to do it
Any reason you can think of as to why this might happen?
I'll suggest your solution in the meantime and see if that does the trick. Thanks

I always mention not to use DWG for anything besides drawing on top of it. Then if you unlink the DWG you dont have a series of warning. Same applies if that DWG change.

I had a problem with imported cad files crashing Revit. Make sure there are no imported bimaps. I think this problem was fixed in the latest build however.
