can't insert into tool pallete

I am unable to drag and drop to my tool pallete. All of the commands are active on the pallete except "paste". Is there some variable I need to set?

Two things spring to mind.

1. The object you copied cant be pasted onto the tool palette

2. Your tool palette is a network one therefore its locked, or something of that nature

Hi, were you ever able to find out what caused the "paste" to NOT show up? I am having that same issue with AutoCAD 2009. Works great on my work PC but not at my home PC.
