handrails....how do i extend level rail

I need a level end to a handrail at the end of the diagonal run of railing (at stairs). I don't see a way to do that through editing properties. Do i need to create another rail family?

Edit the railing and draw an extra line at the end, to where you want the flat railing to stop. Select your new line and chose 'flat' from the drop-down (default is By Host)
