Default Getting Current Profile to Stick

Hello all, here is my problem. I am using AutoCAD 2008 and when I open it up it goes to a default profile. I have to go into profiles and set my profile to current. Everytime I open CAD I have to do this. The profile I want to use is never the default profile. Do any of yall know how to fix this!

BTW Augi CAD Camp '07 was awesome, I suggest going if you have never been!!!

In the shortcut you use to start AutoCAD, you can specify a profile to use with the "/p" switch.
    Code:
"location of your acad.exe file" /p "profile name to use"
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.

So it would be this code then

"location of your acad.exe file" /p "profile name to use"

    "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\MDT 2008\acad.exe"/p"JustinDashboard"

So I put that ^ in the highlighted space in the attached picture?

I was having similiar issues and learned that once you import your profile you should save your workspace as well. If you don't want to save to a new workspace I think you can just go into the workspace settings and set it to save automatically and then import your profile. It should stick after that.

Nope. It would need to be in the target. You will need to create a new shortcut to the acad.exe file and append the /p {profile name} bit to it's target.
