    Default ACAD/LDD tables

is there a way to "import" an excel into ACAD table? such as i have a table setup with the company standards i.e. linetype, lineweight, text style, and text height. but i have data given to me in an excel spreadsheet with formulas and data that need to be shown on a drawing the upper management do not like me to just insert the excel file, so any help with the ACAD tables and bringing the data from excel word be greatly appreciated

Open Excel, copy the range to the clipboard, switch to AutoCAD, run the PASTESPEC command, then select "AutoCAD entities".

If you are using 2008, you can use "Data Links" to create a table in the drawing that is linked to the Excel data.
