showing text in models

I'm wanting to add a company logo to a building and have it show in a hidden line camera perspective, is there an easy way of doing this, because as far as i know if you import an image, this will not show up in this type of view, though i could be wrong??
any suggestions as to which would be the easiest way of achieving what i want.

You can use 3D text if the logo is just lettering or you can create the logo out of generic model extrusions.
If the final views are going to be rendered you can apply a decal which will only be visible in a rendered view.

Thats How i had made one originally, but its qite time consuming because the text in the logo has large spacings, and i need the logo on different sides of the building and at different scales, which means i would have to re create the logo at different scales for each side. thought there may be an easier way.
