AEC Dimensions & Annotative Scaling

i am having trouble getting AEC Dimensions to display correctly when using an annotative dimension style. the dimension style we have works fine if i just run normal dimensions. everything scales and displays correctly. if i try to use AEC dims, the text shows up tiny and doesnt adjust based on scale. if i change the AEC dimstyle to a non-annotative style they work out just fine. im sure its something small i am just missing, but i dont know what it is.

this seems to be related to the paperspace text size box in the text style options. i changed it from 3/32" to 0" and it cleaned right up.

I experienced the same thing. this is totally stupid. Is it because the dim object is annotative and the dim style is annotative and the text style is annotative. do they cancel each other out or something ? good grief, we should be able to setup all annotation objects as annotative and forget it. All this weird combination behavior is unproductive time.
