Default How do I turn levels back on in sections?

I can't seem to get the level tags to show up in elevations and sections... they are set to visible in all the usual places, no view templates in effect, etc. The only thing I can figure out is that I started with an old job and erased all the model data and a bunch of views to get back to a "template", and I think I also deleted the base level views (the ones associated with the level tag). The levels are still there, and everything works except for seeing the levels. I can make a new view and the level tag shows up everywhere, but that will only screw things up...

    Any advice?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

Odds are pretty good that they are just not within the extents of the view.
You have to find them in one view, any view, and then select them all and right click to Maximize 3D extents. That should 'extend' them back to the limits of the model.
Look under 3D Extents in the help file.

As Dimitri said, it's gotta be that the levels don't intersect the view you are in....

If a level is there (I usually check by creating a new floor plan and see what levels are my options....if there is a level, it is physically present somewhere)

The elevations should be set to infinite view range (no extent crop) and then, and with no crops turned on....and if you still don't see them, it is possible that you need to move your elevation target further back.....all of this is of course to be able to find the level marker....it could be up high, it could be low...it could way to the right, way to the left......

of course, they might be also turned off in your specific view....turn on the light bulb...just to know someone hasn't hid them in that view...

    Hope it works out...
