    Talking MIscellaneous - Deck Screw

    Hi,

Here I experimented with the stretch and array parameters. I also added an alignment and look up parameters.

Any feedback is welcome. Any ideas for improvement?

    I had a similar desire to have a screw . . . drawing.
Mine is similar - I copied your alignment parameter idea. I'm sometimes having trouble with rotate and stetch in combination, and align works without trouble.
I use a much simpler screw -fewer entities (79 vs 208 for a 3" screw) and snap points.
Mine also sets below the surface a bit so I can hatch around it and it is a bit shorter so it does not poke thru.
I made the stretch parameter have zero grips, so I just select from the lookup list -who gets custom length screws?

Well put! I have been fussed enough about "I dont care how you draw it, but it better be purchasable and correct!". I have attached my version(s) of a wood screw as well.
