    Default PreDimensioning a part.

    Hello,

How can I preset dimensions in/on a part as I create it so that I can use the auto dimension import command when placing a part into a drawing and have the dimensions come out centered between the witness lines and set at the distances set by the drawings parameters?

    Thank you,
    Roland

If I follow your problem description correctly I think you need r2009 and the Subscription Bonus Pack.

    Dear JD

Thank you for your help. I went to the site and tried to down load the bonus pack but it requires a subscription. What kind of subscription are they talking about?

    Thank you,
    Roland

A subscription to the software you purchased from your VAR. You might want to contact them to get more information on pricing. It provides you with bonus packs, free add ins, support, and new versions of the software as they come out during the release year.

    Dear Mflayler,

Thank you for your help. I'll have to get in touch with our IT person, and ask him to download it for us.

    Thank you,
    Roland
