    Default Optional Infill Wall when using phases

    Summary: Allow options to infilling the openings created by demolished doors/windows

    Description: When using phases, and demolishing a window or door, a infill wall is created by Revit.
    - There should be an option to not have the infill wall.
    - The Infill wall should be able to be changed to a different wall type.

    How Used: When using phases, and demolishing a window or door, a infill wall is created by Revit.

    In addition to infill options, the ability to set an openings' Phase independently from the host wall would be a beneficial.
    eg. Placing a wall opening in an existing wall does not show the opening portion as a demolished wall.

    Currently, you can select the wall-infill, and change its style, phase and workset and its workset. This allows filtering so that the surface pattern of existing walls is turned off, while the infill portions show as hatched.

    I'd be happy if the auto-infill feature just went away altogether. I always thought it was ill-conceived. When you demo a door in reality, the wall doesn't magiaclly heal itself. We should just deal with it as new construction.

    You make an excellent point. I agree with you. Perhaps an option could pop up asking if you wanted an infill wall placed or not.
