Default curved beams in vertical plane

    hello,
I need to put some vertical curved beams in my project (for the roof). My problem is after placing the beams at the roof level I can see them on the level below (say I use level 12 for roof I can see them on level 10&9). I've tried to change the view range.
    Any suggestion?

    thank you

It looks like Revit is trying to be a little too helpful in showing you your curved beams.

In this particular case you may need to make a filter to "turn off" the visibility of those beams in the view you don't want to see them in: Give your curved beams a "comment" or a "mark" which is something like "curved" and then go to Settings>Filters, add a new filter and choose "structural framing" then filter on either "mark" or "comments" = "curved".
Then go to your view, type VV or VG, select the "filters" tab at the top, "Add" the filter you just created and set the visibility to "unchecked". (turn off).

This should clean your drawing up. In the meantime this issue is being looked into.

A less elegant solution is to select all the Beams you want to hide, right-click for the context menu and select "Hide in View" > Elements.

This is a "by view" override. If you want to see hidden elements to unhide, use the Reveal Hidden Elements button at the end of the View Control Bar (the little light-bulb).

Thank you both. Still a little pain. I just hope that in the next release they will fix that problem.

    Cheers
