Wall families??(based on material)

Hi,
Is it possible to make different kinds of wall families in Revit?
For instance, the default wall family in Revit are basic wall, stacked wall and curtain wall.
Is it possible to make families that are material based......such as brick on mtl, concrete masonry etc...??(In revit, these exist as Types and not as families...)

I think this would be something for the architecture forum, we just put stuff on/through walls
