    Default Daylight not behaving correctly

    Hello,
I have a corridor that I am having a problem with. I have a "Daylight General" attached to back of curb. The Cut & fill for Slope 1 are set to 48:1 for a distance of 6'. For the majority of the corridor it behaves correctly. But then all of a sudden it gets sucked closer to the back of curb. I have double checked the targets and I don't seem to have anything that would be causing this. Any Ideas. It is a rather large drawing so I don't think I can upload it. Would a snapshot of the corridor help at all? I just tried to adjust the frequency to a smaller distance but I still get the same areas being closer to the back of curb.

    Thanks,

    Daryl

If it is behaving properly for the majority of the corridor then I would perform a closer analysis of the target in the area where it is not.

My guess would be that those areas where it is being "sucked" in are areas that exceed the cut/fill depths for the flat slopes. In your sub properties, make sure you cut/fill depths for flat slopes are set to a suitable depth for your design.

for the areas that are giving you trouble, create a different region and modify your range of stationing. copy the assembly and edit a few parameters that would meet your needs.. if it's in the tighter areas, you may need to take more samples to get desired effect. It's simple enough to just copy your assembly and just add it to the corridor and specify the ranges rather than trying to do it in one-go.
