    Default Special Railing family?

    Hi,
I'd like to make a special railing.
Like the file called "sample.jpg" in attach'ment.
Is it possible to do this with a railing family.
The aim is to have a kind of texture wich can be repeating following a simple line.
Sample of texture in file called "railing" in attach'ment.

    Cheers.

You need to create the 'reed' elements as your baluster panel.

Unless you really need this to be 3D for rendering purposes I would suggest you create your baluster panels using model lines rather than solid objects. It might reduce model overhead if you have a lot of this railing in your project

I agree with the panel method. Model a panel to contain your reed elements and they will repeat when you use that panel in your railing assembly. Let us know how it turns out!
