Default Allow more image formats for importing

Summary: Revit should allow more image types to be imported -- for example, the TIFF format, including G4 TIFF which is a common format for archiving drawings.

Description: I wish there were more import formats for images.

How Used: There should be more import formats for images besides jpegs. What about tiff files, etc.

I'm good with using PNGs -- small but lossless.

the ability to import PDF's would be fantastic. Many companies now have PDF downloads for their details. We also use PDF's to send to clients and get PDF's back from consultants. It's consistent and predictable. It's would be nice to be able to insert/import these directly into Revit without having to go through some conversion process.

I've always thought it curious that you can link in a DWF - but ONLY the markups.
I agree with bwing able to bring in PDFs, too, but I figure since DWFs are homegrown.....
It may promote the use of DWFs it we could bring in a DWF instead of exporting to ACAD, & bringing in a DWG.
