Default Roof - Pick Walls vs Lines with Pick

I happened to be editing a roof created by someone else, deleted a slope defining sketch line and then added a new one using the Lines / Pick option with a one foot offset. The other sketch lines were created using the Pick Walls with the same one foot offset.

Drove me nuts trying to figure out why the differing eve heights and offset ridge....

That always happens, Revit create roofs with differents roof plates, depending of the sketch mode you use (lines sketch or pick walls). If you want to set only one roof pate, you would have to create the roof using either "pick wall" or "pick line". otherwise your roof will be just like your example.
