Today, we had several stations that lost the pulldown menus and toolbars.
I believe this was due to a dropped server connection last night. So when people came in this morning, the ones who didn't log off or shut down their pc's, started AutoCAD as usual not realizing there was no server connection. Since our shared company menu is set as our enterprise menu (with acad and express loaded as partials to this ) and is located on the server, it couldn't load. Also, since the workspace setting is set to "Automatically save changes to workspace" this now became the default, which meant I couldn't reapply the workspace setting. I had to go and create it again.
I don't know if I explained myself well enough, but that would seem to me then that once users have their menus etc. the way they want, you should uncheck the "Automatically save changes to workspace".
Has anyone else had this happen to them?
