Default Level Units different than Project Units

I would like to keep my project units in feet and inches, but have my levels show units in decimal feet. Is there a way I can do this?

    Thanks

You should be able to do this.

Check out the type properties of your level marker. You should have a parameter called 'Symbol'. Note its value.

Then go to the Families section of the Project Browser, and expand the Annotation Symbols section. Find your symbol in there. Right-click and Edit to load the symbol into the Family Editor.

Once in the Family Editor, you should be able to select the Elevation label and change its Format property. Load the symbol back into your project.
