I can't find one either. I wonder if it has anything to do with your network. Just a wild guess I thought I'd throw out there.
do you have some sort of routine running in the background, I have several layer state routines that always set 0 as the current layer, to make sure that the current layer isnt one that needs to be frozen
I've also seen lisps and macros created which do things such as zoom extents and set current layer to 0 when you save or close a drawing. It might be worth having a look in the start up suite to see what lisps are loaded on startup and maybe check the macros to the save and close commands in the CUI.
I have looked into all of those suggestions. None of which apply to me. Nothing that changes layers. I have seen macros and lisp that does this kind of stuff before. I have even gone to the extent of removing everything from the start-up suite. Any other suggestions.
Okay, try running a script for startup. Type layer 0 in the command center search window. At the bottom, you should see "running scripts at startup". It tells you how to do it there. You should be able to run a script to keep the layer current.
Actually, it almost sounds like there is a script running that changing it to layer 0 at startup. It's worth looking into.
