Default slabs joining/ different thickness / volume schedule

    Hi,

Please look into attached files and tell me why RST2008 gives me a different results in the volume schedule?

I want to join two slabs with different thickness (let say the place is over the column).
I would like to achieve hidden lines which shows me thick slab edges, but also would like to have a proper volume in the schedule (without shared volume)
During slabs joining If I select the thick slab first and later the thin one, volume in the schedule will be correct (without shared part), but lines of thick slab will disappear.
If I do it in the opposite order I will receive hidden lines (edges of thick slab) but in the schedule volume won't change.

Anybody knows how to workaround it?

I reckon the whole why REVIT Structures hidden line work and volumn creating is BUGGY. It doesn't work how structural drafters/designers work, It is more architectural in feel and performance - I hope the Autodesk revit structures development team will spend more time, around the world, with people in the industry, to refine this basic requirement.
