    Default piping rings

I'm drawing a piping system for power plants, and one of the problems is that a ring is created when a straight pipe joins with a elbow. Normally I turn on dispsilh and have the viewport plot in hidden mode. All the elements look perfect, but where ever a straight pipe joins to an elbow we see a ring. The trick that I've used was covering that ring with a pure white hatch in paperspace so that in the final presented form that is ring is covered. I'm wondering if there is a way to automatically make that ring not appear when plotted.

The ring needs to disappear because I've had people confuse it with a weld, when I have a seperate 3D drawn in other specific locations.

    Any ideas?

I think you should use draworder command.Create a layer for ring and make locked it.

If you look at the pdf bellow, I'm looking to eliminate the rings. I usually draw the pipes in 3D so that any iso perspective can be taken of the system.

Uhm... there *is* a weld between the elbow and pipe, so just make sure the join between the elbow and the pipe is at the right spot. As far as I know, you can't get rid of the arc.
