    Default Layer Properties status line

I seem to have a small problem with the layer properties manager. Normally it has a status line to say how many layers in the drawing etc. On this computer there is no status line. Is there a variable that switches this information off? The other computer that runs 2006 has the status line, but not this one.
I have restarted the computer, but still no status line
    Can anyone offer any advice?
    Many thanks in advance

It looks like the current layer is missing also (in the upper right)?

The only thing I can think of would be to try and run a repair on your .NET framework install.

Thanks for your reply. I didnt even notice that part was missing!
Is that solution something the "admins" have to do, or how would I do that?
    Thanks again

If you have permissions.. follow this.

    Add/Remove Programs
    Microsoft .NET framework x.0
    Change/Remove
    Repair
    Next

Unfortunately I can only get to the change/remove then it asks me to contact the admin Looks like I'll have to contact them and wait (and wait)
Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
