Best Fit Line AND 3D Polyline
I'm working in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 and I'm pretty new to CAD in general, but I have a simple question which (hopefully) has a simple answer! Can I use the "Best Fit" line button but have the line be a 3D polyline as well? If so, how the heck do I do it?!
I have several COGO points in my drawing from a field survey and I want to have a best fit line between them and have the elevations considered as well... Imagine having 50+ topo shots per cross section and about 25 cross sections total, seems like a lot of work to use the 3D polyline command and individually pick each point, then do the best fit of that 3D polyline.... Whereas, with the "best fit" button I can just drag a crossing window over the points and make a best fit line - but herein lies the problem, it's just a line NOT a 3D Polyline!!!!!!!!
