Default Annotataion Scale for Plumbing Rise/Drop and Fittings

    Hi,

Ok, so, for my "Plumbing Rise Drop Styles" in the "Plumbing Objects" of the "Style Manager", I have selected "Use Annotation Scale" on the 'Rise and Drop' tab for both Circular Rise and Circular Drop. Also, the "Override Scale" parameter is Unchecked. I have two viewports, one has both the VP Scale and Annontation scale at 1/4"=1'-0" and the other has them at 1/8"=1'-0". So, should not the rise/drop styles appear to be the same scale for both viewports? They are scaled differently, as if to imply that the Annotative Scale is not working..

Can anyone tell me why they are displayed differently in the different viewports, and can anyone tell me how to fix it?

    Thank you,
    Paul

Here's an exerpt from AMEP 2008 help (AutoCAD MEP 2008 Help > Customizing Style-Based Content > Configuring Styles > Rise/Drop Styles > Defining Rise/Drop Styles):

"This scales the block to the annotation plot size (specified on the Scale tab of the Drawing Setup dialog) multiplied by the scale factor for the current annotation scale."

This would imply that the symbols absolutely should appear the same in different viewports with different annotation scales.

Is this a bug? Someone please advise.

    Thank you,
    Paul

Alright, after further considering the wording of the help file - of course I was wrong. The Annotation Scale in Model Space (or on the 'Scale' tab of Drawing Setup, or CANNOSCALE) is what determines the scaling of the symbols...

This should be good enough, I guess It would just seem logical to base scaling on the annotation scale of the viewport, not of the entire dwg..
