    can i create a contour label with a box around the text?

    You could do something with a spot elevation, or use solid text.

    Thank you Nick,
    i tried all and i can't get what i want, so..., i decided to just bold the text to show my new contours diferent to my existing ones
    I wish they had a few more options in their site tools
