No, it's a limitation of the control that AutoCAD uses.
I can't imagine having more than 10 or 15. AutoCAD is slow enough at that stage....

There are ways to add more layouts than 256 - see e.g.:

but these extra layouts cannot be processed by standard AutoCAD commands - not recommended.
