Question Assign a material to AEC/Muti-View blocks?

I am new to the 3D side of my ACA prog. I have inserted some of the AEC content found in the Design Center into my house. They are all orange in color. I can't find any properties to be able to give the blocks any material or texture. The right click on the object doesn't allow me to convert it to anything so that I could change its appearance. I have looked through the forums and can't find any help in this area. Can someone help me with this problem? It is probably simple and I have spent a couple of hours trying to figure it out.

    Hi Jimi,

I know that you can assign a material to a layer and then in the properties of the MvPart tell it to assign material bylayer. To do this type MATERIALATTACH and assign the material you want to the layer (the materials must be loaded in your drawing to do this). Once the material is attached to the layer a realistic visual style will show your MvParts with materials.

I'm sure someone knows an easier way to do this but this is a way I have done it.

    Hope this helps,

Some see the glass as half full, others as half empty. As an engineer I see the glass as twice as big as it needs to be. ~Unknown~
