    Question Worksets and Revit Links

Our Revit trainer said that we could put worksets into one Revit model.
When we link that Revit model into another model we can selectively turn off different worksets. How do you do this?

The reason I ask this is because the architect has drawn a bunch of site work in the archictural model and me being the engineer I do not care so I want to turn off the site work. The site work is in a seperate workset.

    Hi Dave-

Go to File > Manage Links. Select the FIle that you have linked in, and hit "Reload FROM", then navigate to the fire you have linked. On the right side, where it says Worksets, change the selector to Specify, instead of All.

Then click Okay. The Workset dialogue will pop up, so you can specify which ones you want on, and which ones you dont.

    Hope this helps.

This does not seem to work for us in RAC2008 SP3 - although we have never tried it before - is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Our entire office is in 08 SP3, and it seems to be working fine over here with worksetted projects...
