Exterior wall finish & Roof slice

Hi Experts
My first residential project is under process, but I have some problems. 1. How can I finish the exterior with paint & paterns without changing the material of walls or without using the split face. I just want to dicor the exteriar for best color combinations. 2. The building has a cylindrical staircase with cone roof. I want to slice the roof with a slant plane. The sliced looking roof is actualy not solving the problem. A cylidrical plastic water tank is placed under the cone roof, so I need to slice the roof to place the tank from terace side.

Paint tool by selecting material color from type selector can do the job, but there is no shade card to choose from. Split face is helpfull for selecting required area.

One more think- Can door, window family in a project be printed on a single sheet ? This is usefull for showing details of doors & windows in the project.
