Default Showing Joist direction on Plan

I've tagged my beam system and the arrow goes against office convention. How do I create the image below with text of course?
I've been struggling with this and have higher ups breathing down my neck to figure it out.

    Please help!!!!

    Thanks

Select the beam system tag in the project and hit 'edit family' on the options bar. In the family editor, draw the arrows using lines and filled regions as needed (you may have to turn on ref planes in the VG window to see the origin planes). Add instance parameters to control length if necessary, give the family a name and load back into the project.
