    Default installing from usb

Now that all the autodesk products comes in a USB stick i have problems trying to reinstall the software. We I insert the stick into the usb port my computer makes a sound indicated that I connected a usb device but windows explorer does not detect or display the drive so I am unable to install or even read the unit. Does someone have similar problems with the USB unit.?
    thanks

    Default Re: installing from usb

I've had mixed results with the USB drives. I've found several computers with older operating systems which simply can't read the thing. I've been copying the files to my external HD and then onto these systems. Another workaround is to download it from the Autodesk website (I know... a HUGE download...) but once it's on your computer it can be installed.
