    Default Digital Drawing Disclaimer

    Good morning!

I am attempting to come up with a drawing disclaimer to be placed on all digital files that leave the offices to third party persons.

I want to keep our digital work from being altered or used in an incorrect manner (old files as oppsed to new ones etc.).

Any thoughts or input on this?

    Thanks,

    Sarah

Tough task since anything short of a watermark requires honesty. In more times than I can count, I've seen my work used by others with no credit given. Depending on the content, a watermark may be your best bet.

This is something that we also struggle with, and I don't have any quick answer for you. The way we work it is that any drawing that leaves the office does not have an official border on it, and as such, it is an uncontrolled copy. This does tend to work well, and we haven't had too many problems as yet.

    hope this helps
