intersection

Hello everybody,

I have a plane rectangular region and a line that intersects that region. I've tried so hard to have the intersection point (osnap object) displayed on the screen, but I didn't succeed! My final goal is to draw a line in the region starting from the intersection point. Any useful hints?

Draw the line.
Change to a viewpoint and UCS that is edge-on to the region.
Extend/Stretch the line beyond the region and use the region's lines to Trim the line.

Is this what you are trying to do. First make sure that the region and the line are both at the same Z. Second make sure the intersection OSNAP is turned on (either that or start the line command then shift-right click to open the osnap menu)
