Default Plan annotation not showing up when object is on an angle

Here is the issue... The architect has angled/sloped all of the ceiling grids in the classrooms. My ceiling mount projector receptacle when level with the floor, I am able to see my annotation symbol in plan view. When my receptacle is angled with the ceiling, I am not able to see it and I see the receptacle. See attached image. Is there something like a check box or what ever I am missing to get this to show up correctly on a slop or is this a little minor flaw that has been over looked with the software and I'll have to create 89 different versions of the family for all of the angles my annotation symbol will not show up in? Please let me know...

I am currently on 2008 and will be upgrading when ever I get my DVD's (on subscription)... Speaking of, have they shipped yet??? I have downloaded 09 on my pc and its on trial mode, but I am waiting for the serial number from the case to officially register and transfer all of the 08 projects...

    Thanks,

Annotations are view specific. When your family is on a flat ceiling parallel to the view, the annotation shows. When the same family is on a sloped ceiling, it is not parallel to the view anymore. You annotations won't show.
