    Unhappy Multileader problem

I am relatively new to AutoCad & i am using 2008LT. Whenever i complete a drawing using multi leaders and send on to my client, who are using Autocad 2004, they call me and point out that they are getting squares rather than multileaders. I do not get this problem with anyone else but them, so i am assuming that maybe it is something to do with their settings. Has anyone ever come across this problem before - your help will be appreciated.

    Many thanks

Welcome to AUGI and congrats on your first post

Yep, it happened to me but I can't remember how they fixed it. I think the 2004 guy needs to download the correct object enablers to see 2008 objects such as multileaders. They are free downloads form Autodesk. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet...linkID=9240618

okay, maybe that wasn't the problem. Sorry about that.

Are you saving the file down to 2004 or exporting it to a 2004 drawing? Probably just saving it down, so try exporting it. Sometimes going with a different process is enough to make it work.

    Unhappy Re: Multileader problem

Thanks again for your help dzatto, however that didn't work either. I have just spoken to the company that i send my dwg's to and they also use another person to supply, they too are using 2008 and theirs come out fine. If that's the case then it seems to point to me having incorrect settings somewhere, but where? It's probably something very simple like a box unchecked, lol. What do you reckon?
Anyone else that reads this thread, and can shed a little light on this problem that i have, i would be most grateful........until then i shall continue copying & rotating a 'made up' leader. (yawn) Let's hope not too many!

    Thanks guys

Until you find the answer you could still use the mleader for you and the drawing you send out ( as much as I hate to say it), EXPLODE them.

Just one other thing to check.
Options / Open and Save tab / File Save box check the box for maintain visual fidelity

May not be it but something else to check
