Unhappy Fatal Error: Unhandled Exception C0000005(Access Violation Reading 0e1e0ec02) at @ 625752D0h

    Hi Everyone-

We have several work stations that have been encountering the same problem every time we call up the xreference manager: Fatal Error: Unhandled Exception C0000005(Access Violation Reading 0e1e0ec02) at @ 625752D0h. All of the stations have AutoCAD 2008 with SP1 already loaded. Unfortunately, which may sound odd, this error does not cause AutoCAD to crash and close out completely which would issue an error report. What we have noticed is that once it crashes and sets the undo command to group, which will undo all of the work done up to the point when the crash occurred. This problem also occurs with AutoCAD Architecture 2008. I have search this forum as well as AutoDesk's Knowledge Base and have not been able to locate this error code. Any Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you done an audit on the xref?

I have had similar probs (Access violition save errors) and found a corruption in the xref.

    Hi Katika-

Auditing all of the drawings was one of my initial attempts at correcting this problem. The odd things is that it is not just happening on one computer it is on all of them. I also have a friend in another firm that has been experiencing the same problem. Thanks.

Did you intall all the machines off of a network deployment? Maybe the install was corrupt. Try repairing one machine and see if that works.

Is this happening on all drawings or just certain drawings that already have xrefs?

You could have a circular reference problem where the drawing you are in is referenced to its self or has a referenced drawing that is referencing you are in as an attachment.
