Arrow Trans Spatial Dimensions giving me wacky value???

I am dimensioning in PSpace. 90% of the time the trans spatial dimension feature works fine but sometime I get a weird value. If I stretch or move a dimension, the value changes to some odd number..most of the time it is the actual value of the distance in PSpace.

Example: In paperspace I am dimensioning a line the length of 24" in model space thru a viewport scale of 3/8"=1'-0" (scale factor of 32) should give me a dimension of 24". But sometimes I get 3/4" as a dimension value.

    Any ideas?

If you place a second dimension, very often the NODe of the first dimension is picked instead of the mspace osnap point.
When you move/stretch a dimension have you tried to Reassociate it with the mspace objects?

In AutoCAD MEP 2008 I get the same thing with a new dimension. I kow about the "nodes" on Defpoints but I'm getting this problem with a brand new dimension in paperspace so there shouldn't be any nodes hanging around - I THINK?

    Is it a SYSVAR setting?
