I am trying to find out how to convert dwg files into nwd files so I can open them in navisworks viewer to see if they are touching. How do you do this?

If you only have Freedom you cannot convert them, you must have the full version of NavisWorks....but with the new version of Freedom http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet...12&id=11091608 you can open 3d DWF files, so open in AutoCAD, export to 3d dwf and open in Freedom. But you can only open one dwf
These prices are retail, your reseller should be able to give you better prices

G'day Dave, can you do the opposite? convert nwd to dwg
I don't know about NWD>DWG, but you can do NWD>DWF.
If you have Review you can open the DWG and do a Save As.
If you have Manage you can do a Save As or Publish.
