    Hi
    ADT '07

I've created a DB with mutliple insert points. I have 'grips displayed in blocks' turned on. When I select one of the normal grips (**STRETCH** mode), & because it's a block, it acts like **Move**. This means the DB grips move with it. However if I do the same by selecting one of the DB grips it leaves the other DB ones in there original locations.

So, my question: Is there a way to move the DB grips with the block, or even better make them invisible as they're not really needed once inserted.

Why do the DB grips not move with the block? Seems pointless to me.
Even weirder behaviour is 'Reset Block' which moves the block back to the original grip position instead of the other way around. Why does it do that?

    Hope you can help.

I've added an example to hopefully a bit clearer.

Just add the both parameters (not the move action) to each move action. Then if you want the normal grip to remain with the block you will need to add a base point parameter and also add it to both move actions

    Sorry, you've lost me now.

    Lets start again:

I want to create a block with multiple insert points.

    1. In the block editor I (for example) draw a rectangle.
    2. I add to point parameters to opposite corners
    3. I add move actions to those parameters.
    4. I save, close & insert the block.
    4. I select a normal grip & drag the cross-hairs - it moves the block.
    5. I select a DB grip & drag - it moves the block but leaves the opposing DB grip behind.

How do i get it to stay with the block?
    Cheers

you have to add the parameters and their grips to the action of the active parameter you are manipulating. you have to TELL, or MAKE the grips move. nothing is automatic, it's all user coordinated.
Sometimes, i get lost in my own thoughts and need to ask directions to find my way back.
